(Cover) - EN Movies - Ewan McGregor and Evan Rachel Wood are in talks to co-star in forthcoming drama The Prince of Tehran.

The Impossible star and True Blood actress are believed to be at the top of the pile for supporting roles in the Kari Skogland film.

The project will be an adaptation of Marina Nemat’s memoir Prisoner of Tehran: One Woman's Story of Survival Inside an Iranian Prison, set in the aftermath of the 1980 Iranian revolution.

Moviehole.net describes the script an “engrossing cross between Mignight Express and Bangkok Hilton”.

The movie will be based on a true story of Marina, a Christian schoolgirl who protested requirements to study the Koran and was subsequently imprisoned.

Marina was tortured and sentenced to death in Tehran’s Evin prison.

She was eventually released, saved by a guard who fell in love with her during her sentence – although the story ends tragically.

Further casting details are expected to be announced at the American Film Market, taking place in Santa Monica, California from October 31-November 7.
