Jude Law claims he is “misunderstood” when it comes to his love life.
The British actor has had relationships with famous faces including Sienna Miller, Sadie Frost and Ruth Wilson. He finds it frustrating when people see him as a womaniser, and insists he is a loving and committed partner.
"No,” he told the German edition of Cosmopolitan when asked if he is a ladies’ man. “Most of the time I stay in long relationships. I'm a loyal soul. That's why terms like womaniser or sex symbol don't fit with me - that only shows that I'm completely misunderstood."
The 39-year-old hunk went on to gives his views on falling in love. Jude is adamant that you can’t force people to have deep feelings, believing that you can’t control who you fall for.
"No, that's a decision of heart,” he replied when asked if people can choose who they love. “What I mean by saying that is that throughout my life I learnt not to confuse lust with love."
Jude also spoke about his gregarious personality.
The star has a wide group of friends and was raised to understand the importance of being kind and considerate to others.
“I'm really sociable. Having respect for others is important to me,” he added. “My father always used to say, 'Be aware that there are always better people and worse people than you are around you.' I think that's a wonderful idea."
