Aniston’s mother 'breaks arm in nasty fall'

Jennifer Aniston’s mother has reportedly broken her arm in a nasty fall.

Seventy-six-year-old Nancy Dow was with a caretaker in North Hollywood, California when she fell on November 6, according to the National Enquirer.

The matriarch was reportedly walking inside her polling place to cast her vote in the US Presidential election.

"(She) went down hard on the steps of the school, and when she was helped up by her caretaker, she was in excruciating pain," a source told the publication.

Nancy was taken to hospital in nearby Burbank where doctors determined she suffered a hairline fracture in her upper arm.

Doctors reportedly administered treatment and released her, and she returned to the polling place to vote.

The injury comes just over a year after Nancy suffered a stroke.

Jennifer, 43, was seen at a Los Angeles medical centre on her way to visit her mother after the latter incident.

The pair have been open about their tumultuous relationship, with Nancy claiming they did not speak for over a decade at one point. They are said to have reconciled four years ago.

“Things are now fine between us. All of that is over and we’re in touch with one another. We speak and it’s all over,” Jennifer told the New York Post in 2009.
