There are concerns for Gabriel Aubry’s “ongoing anger issues” after police reportedly concluded he started the fight outside Halle Berry’s house last month.

French-Canadian model Gabriel came to blows with Halle’s fiancé Olivier Martinez over Thanksgiving, while he was dropping off his and Halle’s four-year-old daughter Nahla.

Despite suffering fractured ribs, a black eye and bruises in the showdown, TMZ reports that law enforcement sources believe Gabriel committed two batteries on Olivier before he could defend himself.

After conducting a series of interviews, police reportedly determined Gabriel pushed Olivier and attempted to punch him in the face but made contact with his shoulder. Olivier then allegedly responded by punching Gabriel in the face three times.

“[There are] concerns [about] Gabriel's ongoing anger issues,” reports TMZ.

It has been claimed Gabriel may still have unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend.

"It seems he's still having a hard time getting over his break up with Halle,” a law enforcement source told the website.

Gabriel is unlikely to be prosecuted and Olivier and Halle have insisted they don’t want to pursue criminal charges, after deciding it is best to resolve their feud for the sake of Nahla.

The case will reportedly have an informal hearing at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.

It is believed Gabriel could be asked to attend anger management classes, with some speculation the matter could be dropped entirely if both sides agree.

Over the weekend it was reported Gabriel had decided to drop the restraining order he had taken out against Olivier.

Gabriel and Halle have been at odds since their split in 2010. They have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over Nahla, with Halle recently failing in her legal bid to move to France with their daughter.
