Carmen Electra "definitely" feels that her biological clock has started ticking.
The model-and-actress turned 40 this year, and admits that she feels "amazing" about the milestone age.
However, the beauty is twice divorced and still single, and claims that starting a family is something that constantly plays on her mind.
"I definitely have that yearning, absolutely," she told FOX411 when asked if her biological clock has started ticking.
"It is the only thing I haven’t done in life. I had such a strong bond and connection with my mother who has passed away. I do yearn for that connection again. We’ll see what happens."
Carmen is happy about being 40 though. The star feels comfortable in her skin and is often praised for her youthful looks and playful nature.
"I wouldn’t change it for the world. I wouldn’t go back in time. I love where I am right now. I feel happy. Some people say, ‘You look better now then you did then.’ I take that to heart and live on that positivity. I love that," she smiled.
Carmen is perhaps best known for starring in popular 90s programme Baywatch. The glamorous lifeguards were famed for their slow-motion beach run, which the actress has explained.
"There is definitely a technique to the Baywatch run. It was sort of slow motion, you’re breathing a little sexy but a little serious. It was definitely a challenge, it’s much harder to run slower than it is to run fast," she teased.
