Charlie Sheen drunkenly gave a baseball worth nearly $2.6 million to Zac Efron during a wild night out, according to reports.
The former Two and a Half Men star is a big sports fan and got his hands on a baseball signed by American legend Babe Ruth, according to UK newspaper The Mirror.
A source says the 47-year-old hard-partying actor recently entertained 25-year-old Zac at his home and showed off his collectors’ items.
When Zac pointed out how much he loved Babe Ruth, Charlie reportedly told him the ball was his.
But it was not until recently viewing the collection Charlie saw the item was missing and recalled what happened, the insider says.
“Charlie showed him his collection and Zac was blown away by the 1920s signed Babe Ruth baseball which he’d bought at auction for around £1.6million,” the source explained. “Now he doesn’t quite know how to ask Zac for the ball back.”
Charlie last year revealed he also has a 1927 World Series ring once owned by Babe Ruth. The baseball star died in 1948 and the ring is estimated to be worth over $250,000.
The actor has not issued comment on the status of the baseball.
