Owen Wilson feels like a Hollywood "intern" despite his career success.
The comedian still gets star struck by the thought of making movies and appearing in front of the camera.
The 44-year-old Wedding Crashers star recently had his love for the industry confirmed when he approached a group of people with a camera.
"[I often feel like a Hollywood] intern," Owen told FOX411.
“Just today I was on the beach and they were filming a commercial and I was like, ‘Hey what are you guys filming'’ There is something kind of exciting about Hollywood. So it’s a nice thing to be part of.”
Owen's path into making blockbuster movies wasn't always easy. Despite being one of the highest paid actors in the business today, Owen confessed at one point in his life he was considering a career in the Armed Services.
“I did consider another career path,” he explained. “One of the movies I first worked on tested so badly I was thinking, geez, I may have to think about going into something else, but then everything worked out.”
Owen took part in a surprise American football game and party with members of the US military in Los Angeles last week. His role in upcoming movie The Internship allowed him to mix his loves of movies and the sport together when he reunited with fellow comic actor Vince Vaughn to "research" ahead of the shoot.
“One of the most fun things was when it was set up for us to go to a Notre Dame game where we got to be on the sidelines," he said. "Then we went to a 49ers game when we were filming... so we got to do a lot of football stuff."
