Eva Longoria isn’t particularly interested in ever becoming a politician.

The actress and entrepreneur served as co-chair of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

Eva hosted the Latino Inaugural 2013: In Performance at the Kennedy Center on Sunday in celebration of Inauguration Weekend.

She is happy to have contributed to her country through these efforts.

“I’ve had a really great time participating at this level… it just proves to me the power is with the people,” Eva told Extra.
Eva is proud to see President Obama in office again.

The star is always so moved by his speeches and hopes that he will improve the lives of underrepresented Latinos and all citizens across the country.

“Hearing him speaking from his heart, talking about his experiences, what he faced, everything that he’s experienced, he’s living the American dream and he’s living example that is attainable,” she gushed.

“My key issue that I like to focus on is education, making sure Latinos have equal access to quality education, to make sure they can succeed in any economy because this is a knowledge based economy.”
