Kim Kardashian began “second guessing” her desire to be a mother after experiencing fertility troubles.
The reality TV star is currently expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West. However, in a new episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami – which was filmed before Kim got pregnant – the pretty brunette confessed she had received bad news about her chances of conceiving.
“I get a call from my fertility doctor... I’m 31, and my egg levels came back as a woman that’s in my 50s. I’m concerned just hearing all this information of how every woman is born with a certain amount of eggs, and that number to never be increased. Maybe this just isn’t in the cards for me, and I’m freaking out a little bit,” Kim says in the show
“It’s so overwhelming it’s even made me second guess even wanting to have kids. Whatever’s meant to be will be. If I’m not supposed to have kids then maybe I don’t want kids.”
In the episode Kim is also seen attacking her older sister Kourtney. Kim criticises 33-year-old Kourtney for letting her appearance slide and getting wrapped up in her kids, Mason and Penelope.
“Mom life is so torturous. I have a whole new perspective on how boring and miserable your lives are,” she told Kourtney over dinner. “If you knew how boring you’d become, would you still have had kids'”
Kourtney is furious with Kim’s comments and storms out of the restaurant, branding the younger star a “b***h”.
“I’m just trying to live my life, and it’s so frustrating when she throws these insults at me,” Kourtney rages. “Kim is insulting my life choices of having a family and wanting to be a mom as if I’m doing something wrong.”
Kim later realises she has been out of line in attacking Kourtney. She admits she has been taking her health problems out on her loved ones.
“It’s really comforting to know that I have two sisters who have gone through two completely different experiences,” Kim explains. “Am I going to take after Kourtney who can just sneeze and get pregnant, or am I going to take after Khloé and have a really hard time'”
Kim is believed to be around 15 weeks pregnant and is due to give birth in July.
