Angelina Jolie is rumoured to be expecting a baby.

The actress and her fiancé Brad Pitt raise six children together, with their youngest being four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Angelina was seen out and about while shooting her movie Maleficent last year but hasn't attended any high-profile events lately. It's been suggested she has retreated from the limelight as she has been struggling with her latest pregnancy.

"She had morning sickness and didn't want to draw attention to herself in public," an insider told the American edition of Star magazine. "She's focusing on the other children right now, trying to prepare them for the new baby."

The couple's other children range in ages from 11 to six and Angelina has reportedly been keen to add to their brood for some time. The Hollywood icons ensure that when one of them is working the other takes time off to be with the children and as both have been busy lately fitting a new addition into their family hasn't been possible.

"Angelina has been talking about having another child for years now," the source said. "But Brad kept putting his foot down because of their intense schedules and chaotic lifestyle."

The couple got engaged last year and over Christmas it was reported they had tied the knot while on holiday in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

They are yet to confirm or deny the reports, although in a recent interview Angelina spoke about how important her family is to her. As well as three biological kids the pair have three adopted children and she feels lucky to have met the tots.

"Maddox [the couple's eldest] had a bit of a say when I met him… but all my other children were just, ‘This is the child that has been chosen for you,’ and I suppose it’s like a child you give birth to, as you can’t have a say in it. I see that when I look at my kids. It just seems to be right. It’s hard to understand how it could unfold so beautifully; at certain times things do feel that way," she said.
