Vin Diesel in talks for Witch Hunter role

(Cover) - EN Movies - Vin Diesel is in early talks to star in supernatural action film The Last Witch Hunter.

Deadline reports that the feature is likely to be directed by Breck Eisner.

Scripted by Cory Goodman, the film follows an “immortal witch hunter who partners with his natural enemy, a female witch.”

The website reports that the duo “have to stop the covens of New York City from unleashing a plague on humanity.”

Vin Diesel, 45, would play the witch hunter in the movie which is being co-financed by Summit Entertainment and Emmett/Furla Films.

The action star will next be seen in Fast & Furious 6 which is released in American cinemas in May.

He will also appear in the David Twohy-directed Riddick, the third instalment in the Chronicles of Riddick film series.

The movie sees Vin Diesel’s character Riddick fight for survival against alien predators after being left for dead on a desolate planet.

It is slated for US release in September.
