JWoww can’t remember her lines while filming a cameo for a US soap opera.

The Jersey Shore star, real name Jenni Farley, will make a brief appearance as a bartender on One Life to Live.

But the fun-loving 27-year-old admits the switch from reality television to a scripted drama has been a tricky one to make.

Fortunately the cast and her fiancé Roger Matthews have stepped in to help the star with her memorisation skills.

"The only problem is remembering my lines and knowing where to step and where to stand,” she told MTV News. “So I just keep repeating my lines over and over with the cast, saying it along with them helps a lot.”

The star confesses she’s still hitting stumbling blocks.

“Last night I was going through them with [my fiancé] Roger and I completely blanked and today I'm doing better,” she explained.

Her trouble with the part may come as a surprise as Jenni admits she has no issues relating to her character.

In fact the promiscuous, tight T-shirt wearing mixologist she will play on the small screen is not an unfamiliar role at all.

"I'm playing a bartender who sleeps with her boss. So it's me, basically,” she said.

“I used to be a bartender. I never slept with my boss, but I slept with plenty of people to know the attitude issue. And he's bringing around other girls in front of my face, so this role is totally me from night to day, day to night.”

In the end Jenni isn’t too worried about her hiccups because she’s suffered worse embarrassments in the past. She’s having a good time on set and hopes fans will enjoy watching her episode as well.

"If I screw up, I screw up," she shrugged. "It's not like live TV. It's not like New Year's Eve when I was hosting in Times Square and we almost dropped the f-bomb live 17 times. So as long as I'm not live, I think I'm good.”

Jenni will make her debut on One Life to Live April 29.
