Liam Neeson has found love again with an "incredibly famous" female, but he isn't naming the lucky lady.
The Taken star lost his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, in 2009 after she suffered a tragic skiing accident in Canada, and now it appears he is finally ready to move on after revealing he is romantically involved again.
The Northern Irish actor made the revelation as he discussed his St. Valentine's Day (14Feb16) plans during a recent interview with the Sunday Independent's Donal Lynch, which was published over the weekend (07Feb16).
"I'd embarrass her if I said her name, she's incredibly famous," Liam said, when asked if he had a special Valentine in his life. "I'll have to do my best for her. It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find."
Liam did not offer up any further details about the female's identity, but he admitted she won't be the only person receiving a gift on the most romantic day of the year.
"I'll send out a few bunches of flowers to various people and I usually just say, 'From an Irish admirer,'" he told the publication.
Liam has been open about his ongoing grieving process for his late wife, and the couple's eldest son, Micheal, previously admitted he had spent months fighting for survival in the wilderness as part of therapy to help him cope with his mother's death, after initially turning to alcohol and drugs to push him through the tough time.
The 20-year-old is now sober and following in his parents' acting footsteps, and Liam admits that although he has mixed feelings about his boy's career choice, he is proud of how Micheal has handled himself so far.
"It gladdens my heart but it also makes me wary for him," Liam explained. "My lineage (in acting) is short but my wife's goes back to the 1700s.
"He's taking it very seriously. He's had a couple of opportunities for screen tests for major things and he's turned them down. I asked him why and he said, 'I'm not trained yet', so I think that's wise."
However, there is one poignant project Micheal recently signed on for - reprising the titular role made famous by his movie star father in 1996 biopic Michael Collins.
The budding actor will portray Irish revolutionary Collins in The Rising, a movie which will centre on the historic 1916 Easter Rising, during which a small group of Irish patriots sought independence from British rule.
Liam famously tackled the role of Collins in filmmaker Neil Jordan's critically-acclaimed Michael Collins, which was set in the 1920s, during the Irish Civil War.
