Paris Hilton is "thrilled" about meeting her future niece or nephew, noting the excitement is only increasing because of sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild's choice to keep the baby's gender a secret.
Nicky and her husband James Rothschild are currently expecting their first child together, with the 32-year-old fashion designer and hotel fortune heiress having debuted her baby bump at the amfAR Gala in New York City on Wednesday (10Feb16) night.
Paris can't wait for the little one to arrive, as the 34-year-old socialite-and-DJ thinks she will "for sure" be the cool aunt.
“I am so excited," she gushed. "I can’t wait to be an aunt — my sister is thrilled."
Not knowing the child's gender is only enhancing the glee, according to Paris.
“(Nicky's) so tiny right now you can’t even tell (she’s pregnant),” she smiled. “Usually you can tell with the size if it’s maybe a boy or girl, but we have no idea — and they want it to be a surprise.”
Paris has been spending much of her time in Switzerland, where new boyfriend Thomas Gross lives.
The stunning star is busy packing her luggage ahead of Valentine's Day this Sunday (14Feb16), as she is literally preparing to be swept off her feet.
“We’re going on a surprise trip," she smiled. "He’s very romantic and he loves surprising me — this is one of his little surprises."
Paris' relationship with handsome entrepreneur Thomas is a far cry from her involvement with the likes of Jared Leto and Benji Madden, which were heavily documented in the press, as things are a lot more low-key.
Having dipped her toe in reality TV in the past, the blonde beauty is happy to leave that behind and focus on love.
"He's very private so he'd never want cameras following us around," she told Britain's Closer magazine. "I'm so busy with my work that when I do get time at home, I don't have time to watch reality TV. I like to cook for my boyfriend and watch movies together.
"Thomas is my soulmate. I've never been happier. He doesn't like fame, he just wants me. With previous boyfriends I felt there was always an intention, but with him I know it's all about love."
