Actress/singer Vanessa Williams tied the knot with husband Jim Skrip for a second time during a Catholic ceremony on Monday (30May16).

The Save the Best For Last star wed the retired accountant on America's Independence Day last year (04Jul15) in his native Buffalo, New York.

The wedding took place at St. Stanislaus church, but the couple recited its actual vows in the ballroom of local wedding venue Statler City, where Vanessa's brother Chris Williams officiated their union.

Almost a month before the couple's first anniversary, Vanessa and Jim tied the knot again on America's Memorial Day, and this time their nuptials were overseen by a Catholic priest.

Vanessa took to Twitter on Tuesday (31May16) to share a photo of herself in a flowing white gown, holding a bouquet and kissing Jim on the steps of a church.

She added the caption, "Yesterday we took one last walk down the aisle - this time in my little church. Officially wedded Catholic."

While further details of their second wedding have yet to be revealed, the couple's first ceremony included an Egyptian-themed reception, in honour of the pair's first meeting - Vanessa met Jim in 2012, while vacationing with her daughter in Egypt.

She previously told Philly.com of their fated encounter, stating, "You go across the world to find somebody who's six hours away."

The former Miss America, 52, was previously married to Ramon Hervey II from 1987 until 1997, and basketball player Rick Fox from 1999 until 2004. She has four kids from her previous marriages.

Vanessa also hit the headlines at another celebrity wedding recently - she sang Save the Best For Last at her Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria's wedding in Mexico earlier this month (21May16).
