Jake Gyllenhaal ‘tries to win back Dakota Johnson’

Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly determined to win ex-love Dakota Johnson back.

The Hollywood couple went their separate ways five years ago, but have apparently reunited for a romantic date following Dakota’s split from boyfriend Matthew Hitt.

Dakota is single again after calling it quits for good a few weeks ago (Jun16) with the musician and lead singer of band Drowners after two years. But the Fifty Shades of Grey actress is reportedly wary of “commitment-phobe” Jake.

“Even though it was just a fling, Dakota had really strong feelings for him so when he dumped her out of the blue, she was really shocked,” a source told Britain’s Heat magazine. “But it was all because Jake freaked out, as he’s a bit of a commitment-phobe.”

Nightcrawler actor Jake is reportedly trying to woo Dakota back, calling her “the one that got away”. The insider adds he’s spent years trying to win her back. And now that she is single he is stepping up his campaign to win the 26-year-old over.

“This time Jake’s not taking no for an answer. There was so much chemistry between them, when they met up, and he’s now arranged a romantic dinner for them in New York,” the source added.

Jake has dated some very famous celebrity women in the past, including Taylor Swift, Kirsten Dunst and Reese Witherspoon, and previously said in an interview that he hopes to settle down.

“Oh, I hope to get married. I think it’s hard for everybody, man. But I also think at some point, you just decide to grow up, you know?” he told U.S. shock jock Howard Stern.
