Joseph Gordon-Levitt to be a dad again

Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to become a dad again.

The Snowden star's wife Tasha McCauley is pregnant with the couple's second child, 20 months after giving birth to a son, whose name has never been revealed.

The new baby news broke shortly after Joseph and his wife, who wed in 2014, were spotted enjoying lunch at Comoncy in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on Wednesday (03May17). Tasha was photographed sporting what looked like a small baby belly and now a representative for the couple has confirmed reports she's with child.

Fans shouldn't expect to hear much about the pregnancy or the baby's birth as protective dad Joseph made it quite clear after the birth of his son in 2015 he would not be dishing out personal family details in an effort to protect him from the limelight.

"Being in the public eye is a great thing," Gordon-Levitt said at the time. "It allows me to do what I love to do, which is act in movies, but it's a choice that I made. I decided to have a career in showbusiness, and so people know my name and know my face. And that has its upsides and honestly, some downsides.

"My son, he's just a baby, you know? He hasn't made the choice to be in the public eye, and that's a choice that I would like him to be able to make when he's older, when he can think about these kinds of things and make that decision for himself... For now, I'm just a protective dad, and I want to protect his privacy."

But he was thrilled to be a dad, adding, "It’s wonderful and it makes me really happy. I am just so happy."
