Millie Bobby Brown is reportedly dating David and Victoria Beckham’s 16-year-old son Romeo.

The Stranger Things star is said to have first met Romeo in December 2016, when she presented an award with him at Unicef’s 70th-anniversary gala. They struck up a friendship, with Millie sharing a snap of the occasion afterwards of the pair posing together and telling fans she would “remember this evening for the rest of her life”.

Now it seems their friendship has blossomed into a romance, with a source telling Britain’s The Sun newspaper that Romeo’s fashion designer mum Victoria approves of his burgeoning relationship with the 15-year-old actress.

“It’s early days but they make a very sweet couple,” the insider said. “(Victoria) has given it the seal of approval as she is a big fan of Millie’s.”

The relationship comes after Millie’s split from 16-year-old American singer Jacob Sartorius in July 2018 following seven months of dating.

“The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual. We are both happy and remaining friends,” Millie said at the time.

The rumoured romance with Millie is the first public relationship for Romeo.

British actress Millie went from unknown schoolgirl to household name after landing the role of Eleven in Stranger Things, and now commands $290,000 (£220,000) an episode of the hit Netflix show.

She has a huge roster of celebrity friends, including Zac Efron and model Hana Cross – who’s dating Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn.

Asked about the romance, a source close to the Beckham family told The Sun: “Romeo and Millie are hanging out.”
