Whitney Port turned down date night with Leonardo DiCaprio

The Hills star Whitney Port turned down a night of passion with Leonardo DiCaprio because she was too nervous to be alone with the movie star.

Long before she met her current husband, Tim Roseman, the star had the chance to romance Leo after the pair connected during a night out in Hollywood six months prior.

Calling it one of her bigger regrets in life during a recent episode of her With Whit podcast, the reality TV star admits she was a little intoxicated and chatting to Rihanna when she first met DiCaprio.

Port's pal Andrea Cuttler, who joined Whitney for the 14th episode of her podcast, said, "I have been dying to tell people this story for ages. I feel like whenever I tell it to friends, no one believes me.

"Leo comes up to you... (and) insinuated that, like, he had missed the week prior's episode (of The City), and you're like, 'Is he telling me that he watches The City?'"

Andrea revealed there was a "phone number exchange" before the ladies left.

Port then recalled she and Leo became text pals for about six months before their paths crossed again.

"He invited me out to Teddy's and he invited me back over to his house and I said no," she said. "I was too nervous. I had never had a one-night stand. I didn't want to be with him alone. I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it's really one of my bigger regrets in life."
