Sophie Turner took aim at "influencer life" as she shared a funny but cutting promotion for a fake product on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Game of Thrones actress decided to have her say about the controversy surrounding influencers and their promotion of certain products, as she jokingly told fans about a new brand she was endorsing.
"Today I just wanted to promote this new powder stuff that you put in your teeth," Sophie began. "Basically it makes you s**t your brains out and it's totally, really, really bad for me to be promoting to young women and young people everywhere but I don't really give a f**k because I'm getting paid money for it. Influencer life!"
Sophie's post comes after stars such as Khloe Kardashian have attracted criticism for sharing their support for certain products, with Jameela Jamil slamming the reality star for backing a meal replacement shake that has yet to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
"It's incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That's the media's fault," The Good Place star wrote. "But now please don't put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You're a smart woman. Be smarter than this."
