Edith commented;
“I’m thrilled to be hosting the 2017 Into Film Awards. As a huge film fan, I’ve been supporting Into Film over the last few years, and I think it’s a wonderful outlet for young people with a passion for film to come together and share that excitement with others, get creative and be supported as they explore the wider world of film. The opportunities that the Into Film Awards offers is brilliant – to be recognised for achievements in filmmaking, reviewing and film related projects is a unique chance for young people to have their voices heard, and to showcase their talent at the start of what could be their career paths. I’m very excited to see the efforts of the nominees and meet the young film enthusiasts, on what I’m sure will be a very special day.”
Into Film CEO Paul Reeve commented;
“We are excited to have Edith hosting the Into Film Awards. As a regular host for film premieres and events, she’s passionate and knowledgeable about cinema, and very well-known to our young people, making her the ideal fit for our Awards. We are really looking forward to her taking the helm at the ceremony.”
