Aaron Sorkin reveals One More Thing about Steve Jobs

Aaron Sorkin almost called the Steve Jobs movie One More Thing...

In the end the man behind the screenplay kept it simple by naming the film after the Apple entrepreneur. But with Steve famous for his dramatic ways, which included turning around at the end of Apple presentations and announcing "There is one more thing...", it was tempting to think outside the box.

"For a while I thought that would be the title of the movie," he told CNET. "But I couldn't work a 'one more thing' into the screenplay!"

After 2013 flop Jobs, which starred Ashton Kutcher as Steve, there was a lot of pressure on the newest take on the tech genius' life, and Aaron instantly knew exactly what he wanted to present to his audience.

"Before I knew what I wanted to do, I knew what I didn't want to do, and that was write a biopic," he explained. "I didn't want to write a cradle-to-grave story where we land on the greatest hits of the protagonist along the way."

The film focuses heavily on Steve's interactions with the people close to him, with Michael Fassbender taking the lead and Kate Winslet also starring. Particularly it focuses on his relationship with his young daughter. While it's clear Steve wasn't always easy to work with, Aaron says there's no doubt he was one of the most influential people in tech.

"He marshalled the forces that created not just the most successful company in the history of the world, but also these products and devices that so many people feel emotional about," he reasoned. "My verdict is yes (he was a genius). Would I like to have his brain and his imagination' You bet."
