Jessica Alba spent her childhood wishing she was super-human.

The American star was able to realise her dreams as an adult, starting in countless movies that fall under the sci-fi/comic book and fantasy genre. But she did go through a stage of having an impossible desire.

"When I was little, I always spent time imagining I was super-human," Jessica confided to British magazine Grazia.

Her latest role is Nancy in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, the follow up to the 2005 smash hit comic noir flick. As well as a successful movie career, the 33-year-old is also the brains behind natural baby product business The Honest Company.

On top of that she juggles being a mom to her daughters Honor and Haven with husband Cash Warren.

"Before having a family, my whole identity was wrapped up in my decisions about acting. Now, having kids and a business, I don't feel the pressure," she smiled.

Jessica is no stranger to playing the seductive character in her films. She's also often featured in magazines in revealing shoots, showing off her honed physique.

"I'm not so concerned about people seeing me as only one thing or another," she explained.

"I wear so many different hats, it doesn't really bother me. I have enough people in my life who really care about me sincerely and those are the people I put energy into."

With five new films currently in production, Jessica's schedule is busier than ever.

However you won't be seeing her return to a dance based movie anytime soon like the 2003 feature that launched her career, Honey.

"It was fun to do when I was a kid. And sure, I'll go out dancing with my fiends once in a blue moon, or do a fun hip-hop class, but it's not exactly a choreographed piece!" she giggled.
