Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo will reportedly tie the knot this weekend.

The loved up couple began dating in 2001 and have enjoyed a seven year engagement. They have daughter Aviana, four, together and are apparently preparing for an intimate ceremony.

"Amy and Darren are getting married this weekend in Los Angeles in a ceremony that will be intimate and very genuine. The guest list is being kept very small and she has kept the location very much under wraps," a source told Page Six.

"Amy and Darren had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married.”

Since her break out role in 2002's Catch Me If You Can opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, Amy has been a big screen regular.

She's been nominated for five Oscars, including at last year's ceremony for her role in American Hustle, but is yet to take home gold.

The 40-year-old star credits her strong family unit for giving her career confidence, previously revealing she often turns to her young daughter for a pep talk.

"I call my daughter!" she told German Glamour when asked how she deals with lapses in self-esteem. "Not to have a deep conversation, I mean, Aviana is just four years old. It's just nice to have a chat and hear her voice.

"Sometimes, even just looking at a photo of her is enough. It puts things into perspective and reminds me of the important things in my life."
