Ashley Greene denies Lovato rift

Ashley Greene is “really happy” that Demi Lovato is doing well.

Last year it was reported that Ashley’s relationship with Joe Jonas was one of the factors that drove Demi into a rehab facility for depression.

Demi and Joe briefly dated in 2010.

Ashley is pleased the singer is recovering, but insists the rumours are still difficult to deal with.

“I’m really happy that she’s doing well. She and I never had a problem with each other,” she said in an interview with Allure magazine.

“But, you know, it doesn’t go away. Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie.”

This summer, speculation surrounded another of Ashley’s relationships. It was reported that she and Gerard Butler - who is seventeen years older her senior - were together.

Ashley denies they were ever dating.

“He’s extremely attractive, but I think he’s a little too old for me.

“Don’t print that I called Gerard Butler old, I feel bad,” she joked.

The brunette star was keen to address all the rumours about her personal life.

In 2009 nude photographs of the Twilight actress were leaked on to the internet. At the time Ashley was forced to take legal action against the websites that published them.

Now, the 24-year-old tries not to let the press surrounding the scandal bother her.

“One of my family members said to me, ‘Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous,’” she said.
