Ashton and Mila’s ‘old fashioned date’

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis enjoyed an old-fashioned date in New Orleans over the weekend.

The couple were said to be visiting Ashton’s sister Tausha Kutcher and her family for the Easter weekend.

While exploring the city, the group apparently treated themselves to some delicious home-made ice cream from the famous Slidell Soda Shop on Friday, April 18.

“Ashton and Mila were just as kind as could be. They came with another couple and young girl,” Frank Jackson, the owner of Slidell Soda Shop in Old Town, told Hollywood Life. “Mila had the thin mint ice cream, which is actually made from real Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. We crush them up. All the ice cream is homemade right here. Ashton had the rocky road ice cream, dark chocolate, almonds and marshmallows.”

The Slidell Soda Shop is a well-known spot, having been open for seventeen years before Hurricane Katrina destroyed it in 2004. The soda fountain reopened in August, 2012, and Ashton and Mila apparently wanted to support the local business.

“Ashton was in town visiting his sister Tausha, and her husband and his young niece,” an eyewitness confirmed.

Ashton and Mila are reportedly engaged, and she is expecting their first child. The Two and a Half Men actor has made it clear he wants to keep his private life with Mila sacred, especially as his previous relationship with Demi Moore was so public.

"I've learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are one of them," Ashton told Elle magazine. "And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship [with Mila] be private".
