Bradley Cooper: Love is an art form

Bradley Cooper calls himself “a romantic”.

The 38-year-old Oscar nominated Silver Linings Playbook star has dated some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Bradley ended his yearlong on-off relationship with actress Zoe Saldana several months ago. He is now thought to be seeing British 20-year-old model Suki Waterhouse.

Bradley appreciates having a companion to commune with.

“I consider myself to be a romantic,” he told British newspaper The Mirror.

"I love the company of a great woman. I think a relationship works best when both partners have a certain ease in the way they relate to each other and there’s a level of harmony that goes beyond just physical attraction.

“There’s nothing better when you’re able to share that kind of closeness.”

Bradley married actress Jennifer Esposito in 2007 and they divorced a year later.

He was also in a long-term relationship with Renée Zellweger before they broke it off in 2011.

Bradley is evaluating his love life carefully at this time.

“I’m trying to be more reflective because I have a tendency to lose perspective,” he explained.

“But that’s probably a good thing. Romance is an art form and we probably shouldn’t try to manipulate our affections.

"I’ve learnt a lot by watching movies and how they present the idea of romance and trying to take the best things about how a couple can enjoy being together.”
