Bradley Cooper reported dumped Suki Waterhouse because she didn't spend Valentine's Day with him.
The couple's two-year relationship ended last month, with neither discussing why things didn't work out publicly. It's now been claimed that work stress drove them apart, with Bradley apparently feeling the actress-and-model didn't take his work seriously enough.
While he was in New York City appearing in a stage production of The Elephant Man on February 14 Suki was living it up in Austin, Texas, with her friends.
"[He split from her because] she wasn’t supportive of his acting career [and] spent Valentine’s Day away [from him]," an insider told New York Post.
Bradley, 40, was photographed shuffling around the Big Apple in a huge blue puffa coat, jogging bottoms and hiking boots on the romantic holiday. He had a hat pulled down low over his face and looked glum as he strode around the New York City streets.
The look was in stark contrast to Suki, who posted several pictures of herself partying with her friends in a bikini on Instagram. The 23-year-old star and her pals were seen pulling yoga poses, partying on a boat and playing with balloons.
Neither Suki nor Bradley's representatives have commented on the report.
It was previously suggested that it was Bradley's reluctance to commit which sealed the relationship's fate. There had been multiple reports that they were planning to tie the knot during their romance, but apparently the Hangover star wasn't ready to make things official.
"Her friends have been convinced Bradley was close to proposing, but for some reason he just never came through. Suki was adamant that if he couldn't bring himself to commit to her, with or without a baby, then she's obviously not the right girl for him," a source told British magazine Grazia.
"Suki loves Bradley, but her career has just taken off and she wants to have a few more years of working and to get married before starting a family."
