Brooke Mueller has reportedly been granted full custody of her twin sons with Charlie Sheen.

Brooke lost custody of now five-year-old Bob and Max last year, after she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold and then went to rehab for the reported 20th time. That resulted in a bitter feud involving her, her ex-husband Charlie and his other former spouse Denise Richards. Denise has two daughters with Charlie and initially cared for Bob and Max too, before telling officials she couldn't, due to their difficult behaviour.

Although Charlie initially backed Denise, he has now fallen out with her and is back on good terms with Brooke.

Brooke was allegedly granted full custody of Bob and Max by a child dependency judge after it was deemed that she had complied with all of the terms set forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS)," a source told RadarOnline.

"As far as Child Protective Services is concerned, Brooke has made a successful recovery, and is now ready to be the legal custodial parent for the boys."

After Denise made the decision not to look after the boys any more, Brooke's brother was given custody. She has spent a lot of time with them of late and although the DCFS will be in touch with the family going forward, Brooke won't be subjected to random drug tests.

The insider claims the department always tries hard to keep families together, so it should be of no surprise that Brooke is back with her kids.

Charlie is currently engaged to former adult movie star Brett Rossi and she has also bonded with Brooke, resulting in the engaged couple deciding to have Charlie's ex at their nuptials.

"They all get along and are one big happy family. It might be unconventional for most people, but not for Charlie’s wacky world!” a source previously explained.

“Having Brooke at the wedding will also show the twins that they all get along."
