Actor Bryan Cranston once married a couple in a tiny plane flying over the Hollywood sign after spontaneously becoming a minister.

The Breaking Bad star previously revealed he was ordained during his younger years while working a part-time job and during a chat with talk show host James Corden, Bryan divulged details on the first time he led nuptials.

"I was in college and befriended a guy named Reverend Bob in Catalina Island, and he said, 'Oh I made a mistake, I scheduled two weddings at the same time, you have to do one,' and I said, 'What'" he recalled. "He says, 'It pays $175.' This is the mid-'70s, I said, 'I'll do it! But how do you do it' He got out a piece of paper, put it in his typewriter and started punching it up, and all of a sudden, I'm official! My first wedding was in an airplane over the Hollywood sign and I was in the front seat going (shouts), 'DO YOU TAKE HIM TO BE YOUR LAWFUL HUSBAND, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, AS LONG AS YOU BOTH SHALL LIVE' and it was like (shouts), 'WE DO!'"

Bryan was joined on the sofa by fellow actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who laughed throughout the humorous tale. During his appearance on the programme, the Trumbo star also reflected upon the first time he met host James around five or six years ago. The British TV personality began his stint on The Late Late show in March 2015, taking over from small-screen icon Craig Ferguson.

"My wife and I were in a Los Angeles restaurant having brunch and this really sharp young man with a beautiful British accent and a crisp white shirt walks up to us," Bryan reminisced. "(I said,) 'I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the coffee,' and he said, 'Oh no, no, I can't get your food, I'm not a waiter.' And I said, 'Well you stick with it, you could be anything you choose - don't give up!' He was a big fan of Breaking Bad and this young man was going on and on."
