Cameron Diaz: Chastain had Oscar confusion

(Cover) - EN Movies - Jessica Chastain was initially unsure which movie she’d been nominated for when she was told she was up for an Oscar.

The actress was at Parish Haute Couture Fashion Week earlier this year when she heard the news.

Cameron Diaz has recalled how amazed Jessica was to be in the running for the best supporting actress prize for The Help.

“She had just found out she’s been nominated for an Oscar – from the journalists asking how she felt! She wasn’t even sure which movie she was nominated for,” Cameron laughed.

Cameron sat next to Jessica at the Armani Prive show after she heard about her Academy Awards mentions. The red-haired star was astounded to be in the running for such a prestigious prize and Cameron treasures the memory of being able to support her.

“She was having a moment and I got to share it with her,” Cameron told the latest edition of UK InStyle magazine.
