Charlie Sheen is moving on

Charlie Sheen is looking forward to “the next chapter” after his TV show was axed.

It’s been confirmed that no new episodes of Anger Management will be created, with Charlie and his cast mates informed on Friday. The series began in 2012 and saw Charlie take on the role of a therapist, with his co-stars including Selma Blair and Brian Austin Green.

“I am beyond proud of what we accomplished over the course of 100 episodes of Anger Management,” Charlie told RadarOnline exclusively.

“We created something uniquely special with some of the most talented individuals I have ever had the privilege to work with. My sincere thanks to all for their unwavering love and support. Here’s to the next chapter.”

The 100th episode of the TV comedy, and the finale of series two, will hit screens tonight.

The 49-year-old star does have some other work in the pipeline, as he’s due to star in The Goldbergs, reprising his role from 1986 cult classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

He’s apparently not too worried about filling the rest of his time and is focusing on having a relaxed festive season with his nearest and dearest.

“Charlie is planning on spending the holidays with his family, children and friends and looks forward to what 2015 has to offer,” his publicist said.

The actor began work on Anger Management after he left Two and a Half Men following his meltdown in 2011. He slammed the series’ creator Chuck Lorre publicly, and he also claimed he was a warlock with “tiger blood” running through his veins.

Whatever he goes on to do, Charlie won’t have to worry about his finances. In 2010 he was the highest-paid TV actor, picking up a staggering $1.8million per Two and a Half Men episode.
