Chris Hemsworth has joked he's "Team Peeta" when it comes to The Hunger Games.
His younger brother Liam plays Gale in the popular teen franchise, vying for the heart of Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen alongside Josh Hutcherson's Peeta. During a recent Twitter Q&A the Thor hunk joked he never had his brother's back.
"Isn't it obvious' Peeta." he deadpanned when asked by a fan if he was Team Gale or Team Peeta.
Luckily the brothers actually get on well and have previously claimed they don't compete with each other in the film industry. Chris would even be open to teaming up with his sibling on a movie in the future.
"Yeah, I'd love to one day, if the right thing came up. But we might get sick of each other." he divulged to his followers.
Chris, 32, and Liam, 25, also have an older brother, 34-year-old Luke. He also acts, appearing mainly in TV shows and films in their native Australia, and middle child Chris says it was great having him around as a role model.
"Yes, he started working before us and definitely helped me get involved," he shared when quizzed about Luke.
Chris was answering fans' questions under the hashtags #AskChrisHemsworth and #IntheHeartoftheSea to promote his new movie. In order to portray Owen Chase in In the Heart of the Sea, he had to lose a great deal of weight. The usually bulked-up actor shared a shocking picture on Instagram, in which his ribcage was sticking out and his face gaunt.
"Losing the weight," he answered when asked about the toughest part of the shoot. "See the photo I tweeted earlier. I don't recommend it..."
Chris plays a man who's part of a whaling crew that gets stranded at sea for 90 days.
"I spend more time thinking about food than anything else," he previously told Entertainment Tonight.
"We have to shoot the really skinny stuff where we drop down to 5, 6, 700 calories a day, a good three or four weeks and it's going to be pretty uncomfortable, but we'll be together in our misery."
