Chris Hemsworth wants to introduce his children to different cultures.
The Thor star is constantly on the go for work, which means his wife Elsa Pataky and kids India, Sasha and Tristan also clock up their fair share of air miles.
It may be a bit of an unsettled life, but the Aussie hunk loved travelling so much when he was young, he's sure it's in his offspring's blood too.
"I loved discovering new ways of life and different cultures!" he enthused to the German edition of Glamour magazine.
"It opened me up to all the alternatives out there, I never veered towards one-sidedness. That's exactly what I hope to achieve with my children. Travelling means staying alert, staying interested."
Chris admits that things may get more difficult when his kids hit school age. But for now, they're happy to enjoy the nomadic lifestyle and explore different corners of the world.
It helps that their brood is already pretty open-minded, as they are being brought up bilingually. Elsa is Spanish, so is teaching them her mother tongue.
"Bad luck for me, because I'm not bilingual!" Chris laughed.
"I worry that one day my wife and kids will be berating me in Spanish and I'll have no idea what they're gossiping about!"
There seems to be something about Chris, 31, that inspires people to travel. His latest role is in hacking thriller Blackhat and director Michael Mann made his way to Costa Rica, where the star was at the time, just to cast him.
