Close and Nolte are Always on My Mind

(Cover) - EN Movies - Glenn Close and Nick Nolte are confirmed to star in music-driven drama Always on My Mind.

According to Variety, Always on My Mind is adapted from a screenplay written by Broadway musical Rock of Ages creator Chris D'Arienzo.

The plot centres on an elderly rocker portrayed by Nick who is battling Alzheimer’s disease. His wife, depicted by Glenn, must deal with the ravages of her husband’s wild lifestyle.

Joe Neurauter and Felipe Marino of Occupant Entertainment will serve as producers on the project.

Chris’ show Rock of Ages has been nominated five times for a Tony Award and is approaching its fourth year in theatres.

Glenn was last seen in 2011 drama Albert Nobbs and her next film The Grace That Keeps This World is in pre-production.

Nick’s newest movie Gangster Squad, which also stars Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, will be released in theatres in January.

Always on My Mind will start shooting early next year.
