Donald Faison and his wife Cacee Cobb have welcomed a little girl.

The 40-year-old Scrubs star, famed for his role as Dr. Chris Turk in the ABC medical drama, confirmed his 37-year-old wife was pregnant in an Instagram post last October.

And the family took to social media again to make the exciting announcement that their daughter has arrived safe and sound.

“Meet the newest love of our life, Wilder Frances Faison. #babygirl,” Cacee wrote on Instagram Friday in a caption attached to a close up pic of the newborn.

Donald reposted the sweet image of their baby girl, who was swathed in a white towel with a cute bowed scarf wrapped around her head, on his own Instagram account.

The couple now have two children together, as they are already parents to 20-month-old son Rocco.

Donald revealed to People magazine previously Cacee did not have an easy pregnancy with their daughter Wilder.

“It’s much different this time around,” he noted.

“Before I felt like pregnancy was a little bit easier, right now she’s having the hardest time carrying this baby.”

But fortunately Cacee eventually started feeling better, as Donald confirmed last December her spirits were up.

“It was a little touch and go at first, but she’s so amazing right now and she’s doing really well,” he gushed to People at the time.

The couple got married in December of 2012, in a ceremony held in actor Zach Braff’s backyard. CaCee is singer Jessica Simpson’s best friend and former personal assistant.

This will be Donald’s sixth child. He is also a father to son Sean from a previous relationship as well as twins Dade and Kaya plus son Kobe, all from his first marriage to Lisa Askey.
