Courteney Cox “can’t imagine” hosting her nuptials without Ed Sheeran in attendance.

The former Friends star was introduced to her current fiancé Johnny McDaid by the 24-year-old The A Team singer in 2013.

And when Courteney and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny walk down the aisle, Ed will play a pivotal role in the ceremony.

“We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can’t imagine him not playing something at the wedding,” she told UK newspaper The Sun. “It’ll be a musical night.”

Courteney noted there is likely to be a line-up of musicians performing at the wedding, so Ed will still be able to mingle, eat cake and partake in the festivities after his turn on the mic.

Courteney has become far more involved in the music scene due to her romance with Johnny.

She has even taken on directing a video for group Kodaline’s new track Love Will Set You Free, something the star enjoyed doing immensely.

“After spending some time with the band while they were working with Johnny, I thought I’d love to shoot a video for this song that shows the real side of these guys,” Courteney shared.

“They are sweet, loving and personable, I wanted to show that.”

Courteney shares 11-year-old daughter Coco with her ex-husband David Arquette.

And she previously revealed the preteen is likely to perform at the upcoming nuptials too.

“I could request something, but I actually wouldn’t have a choice. That kid loves to sing. Everything from Barbra Streisand to Cee Lo,” Courteney told People magazine. “She’s actually really, really talented. Coco sang a song for the film I directed called Just Before I Go. And she’s amazing.”
