Dean McDermott is reportedly still trying to “repair the damage” he did to his marriage.

The 47-year-old star completed a rehab stint earlier this year following allegations he had been unfaithful to his wife of seven years Tori Spelling. He is rumoured to have sought help for a sex addiction and yesterday was seen purchasing items from a store which sells things to help people in recovery.

“Dean stopped in after an AA meeting and bought a few things, including stickers for his motorcycle helmet,” an insider told RadarOnline. “He also bought some books and meditation stuff.

“Dean said he needed the stuff he bought to help his marriage. He said he’s trying to get sober and repair the damage he did to Tori.”

Dean apparently believes the only way he can improve his marriage situation is if he shows Tori he is there for her at any time of the day or night.

It is understood that the couple’s martial problems will feature in their new reality TV show True Tori, after a teaser was released online over the weekend.

"That's my worst nightmare, I cheated on my wife," Dean says in the clip, which is thought to have been shot during a counselling session. "I was out of control... Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."

Tori is seen weeping in the excerpt and replies: “I’m really mad… I can never give him enough sex. He’s never going to be happy with just me.

“I'm well aware this might not have a happy ending.”

The couple raise four children together.
