Demi Moore “knows everything that’s going on” when it comes to Dancing with the Stars.

The 52-year-old actress has a vested interest in this year’s show as her daughter Rumer Willis is competing alongside partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

And Rumer has revealed in a new interview that Demi is a massive supporter of hers, and has always been a huge fan of the programme.

"She knows everything that's going on," Rumer told Access Hollywood. "She has it on lock down, she knows who is doing what song, the hair-dos, she's got wardrobe palette boards. It's awesome. I love it!"

Rumer’s father Bruce Willis has also been lending his support to his daughter. Both Bruce and Demi have been seen in the audience in the show so far.

"He was so proud [after the first night],” she said. “I called him on his birthday and he just kept talking about how proud he was. It was sweet. It was really awesome.”

Rumer has already been labelled a frontrunner to win the show, following an incredible first night on the competition.

When it comes to getting into character for the dancefloor, the 26-year-old says she has called on one of the most fierce pop divas to help her.

"I try to just think about having a good time and I was trying to channel my inner-Beyoncé real hard that night," Rumer said of her show debut. “You just have to find your intention. It's like acting or singing. If you can sing a song and have a beautiful voice, but if you don't have the intention behind what you're doing, I think some of the magic and sparkle gets lost in it."
