Douglas Booth: Channing is a champ!

Channing Tatum is a lad, according to Douglas Booth.

The actors star alongside each other in sci-fi flick Jupiter Ascending, which has just been released on DVD.

Douglas loved working with A-lister Channing and also got the chance to collaborate with his old friend Eddie Redmayne on the movie.

"Channing has a big heart, he's good humoured and he's a lad. Solid all round, everything you'd want him to be, he is," he smiled to British newspaper Metro.

"And I've known Eddie since I was 16. He's just extremely humble and lowly, kind and good fun. I'm so proud of him."

The film also stars Mila Kunis and Sean Bean, and tells the story of a young woman who discovers she is the heir to an alternate universe.

One steamy scene featured a lot of the cast in an orgy, and despite hours of filming, most of the action was cut.

"So short... and there were so many bodies you couldn't figure out what was going on," Douglas laughed. "We shot for like eight hours with three cameras and I'd worked out in the gym for ages."

One of the 22-year-old's next projects is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which puts a scary twist on Jane Austen's classic tale.

The film, slated for a 2016 release, boasts some of Britain's hottest talents, including Matt Smith, Lily James and Suki Waterhouse.

"It's just like: what would Pride and Prejudice be like set among a zombie apocalypse? You have all these amazing cast members, like in the faithful BBC version, but you have them doing this amazing mash-up. It's going to be entertaining," he enthused.
