Drew Barrymore often feels "overwhelmed" as a parent.
The 40-year-old actress is a mother to daughters Olive, two, and 12-month-old Frankie with husband Will Kopelman.
Despite being a natural when it comes to looking after the little ones, Drew admits it can sometimes be a challenge to make sure they're safe.
“I think as a parent sometimes I feel very overwhelmed with all that there is,” she revealed to People.
“Two is even better than one. I can’t believe it."
The star added that Olive is "awesome" with her little sister, often helping out.
With so much going on in life on top of parenthood, including running a production company and cosmetics line, Drew doesn't feel obliged to shed her baby weight straight away.
“I think it’s crazy to worry about that. It takes nine months to build, it takes nine months to unbuild, at best,” she reasoned.
“We just have to take pressures off. They’re so silly and ridiculous. It took a year and I’m not even there, but it’s fine. I’m so okay with that.”
It was only last week that little Frankie celebrated her first birthday, with her mum throwing her a celebration at their home in Los Angeles.
The blonde beauty recently spoke about how she and Will made the event special.
"We actually had a party for her because funny enough, for all the kids' birthdays we were always travelling... So this one was actually at home and it felt very traditional," she told E! News. "This year I did the Magnolia Bakery cupcakes and we got the 'Let's be Frank' hot dog trunk and put an 'i-e' at the end for 'let's be Frankie.'"
