Efron 'too serious' for Rodriguez

Zac Efron reportedly “fell hard” for Michelle Rodriguez.

The 26-year-old actor and 36-year-old actress have been romantically linked for over a month, and they have apparently known each other since 2011. However, rumours spread earlier this week that the couple had split after an argument in Ibiza.

“Zac has an addicting personality, which rolls over to his women. He invests into something and falls hard — fast,” a source told HollywoodLife. “He really fell hard for Michelle, and she wanted to just have fun and not have a super serious relationship.”

Apparently, Zac might have had trouble with Michelle’s other relationships.

“Michelle is interested more in women than men — so that was an issue as well,” the source explained to the publication. “As great as it would sound to most guys, Zac didn’t want to share her with anyone, especially other women.”

Zac and Michelle both spent time in rehab and it is believed they first hit it off because they understood where the other was coming from. It was previously rumoured the two stars began seeing each other in June.

"They've bonded over the problems they've had in the past and were there for each other when they had break-ups. Michelle gets what Zac's still going through and doesn't judge him,” an insider recently told the British magazine Heat. “They also both love motorcycles, hanging out and being sporty - it just works.”

The 17 Again actor was previously romantically involved with his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, but their relationship ended in 2010. The Fast & Furious actress has reportedly dated Colin Farrell, Jesse Jane and Lenny Kravitz. In February she confirmed a romance with British model Cara Delevingne, but they went their separate ways.
