Emilia Clarke "just accepts" that dragons are real.
The actress plays Daenerys Targaryen in fantasy series Game of Thrones, which is now in its fourth season. Despite the outlandish storylines and make-believe characters, Emilia is completely in character when she's on set.
"We're so lucky to have such great writers," she told Total Film. "They are able to make this world so believable that we never question ourselves, we just accept that dragons exist..."
There's huge hype around Game of Thrones and its violent and sexual storylines have grabbed the attention of many fans. Despite setting the bar so high with previous seasons, Emilia wasn't worried about living up to expectations.
"Just the opposite," she smiled. "I hoped we could build on everything in series three and I think we have. We are all so excited for everyone to see it now!"
The 26-year-old is now moving onto the big screen with a part in Terminator: Genesis. She's looking forward to the challenge.
"I am getting ready to start the new Terminator movie. I loved watching those when I was younger so to get to be in one is amazing," she gushed.
"It's called Terminator: Genesis and I play Sarah Connor. I am lucky that Alan Taylor, who directed me in Game of Thrones, is making this movie. Taking on this iconic role is a little less scary!"
