Kanye West has asked James Franco and Seth Rogen to re-enact their Bound 2 spoof for his wedding.

The hip-hop star is due to tie the knot with reality TV queen Kim Kardashian in Paris on May 24. The pair haven't been shy in showing their love for each other, with Kim appearing topless in the promo for the rapper's track Bound 2. In the video, she sits astride her lover as he drives a motorbike which bumps along to the beat of the track.

James and Seth famously parodied the much derided promo, with James now revealing that even serious Kanye saw the funny side.

"We did get feedback. Kim loved the video and we didn't hear back from Kanye - we kind of felt like he's not bashing us, but he probably hates it and he's just not going to say anything," he explained on US talk show The View.

"But then two weeks ago we got a call from Kanye. Seth and I were on the phone and we thought he was going to let us have it, but he loved it and not only that, I think I can say it now because I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen, he wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding at Versailles."

The two men thought long and hard about accepting the invitation, which they knew would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Eventually, they decided it probably wouldn't be the best move for them.

"I think it would have been awesome for about ten seconds and then there would be Seth with his shirt off in front by all the Kardashians," James laughed.

Kim and Kanye are yet to confirm where they will tie the knot. Initially it was thought the venue was the iconic Palace of Versailles, but that was later dismissed. More recently the nuptials were thrown into disarray following claims Kim and Kanye haven't met the legal requirements needed to wed in France. It's now thought they will hold a celebration at the Chateau Louis XIV in Louveciennes after officially marrying elsewhere.

Kim is a known fan of James and Seth's spoof of Bound 2, having spoken about it in the past. The two men got the idea thanks to their love of Kanye, who they were desperate to see in concert.

"We were filming The Interview in Vancouver and we kept trying to go to Kanye West shows that kept getting cancelled or the dates kept changing and it happened like two or three times," Seth previously explained.

"We were just talking about him all the time and then the video came out so we were just like, 'Let's just try to do that.'"

The stars didn't stop there either - they also created a joke take on Kim and Kanye's US Vogue cover which saw their faces superimposed onto the star couple's bodies.
