HIMYM's Cobie Smulders expecting

Cobie Smulders is expecting her second child.

The How I Met Your Mother star and husband, actor Taran Killam, shared the news with People.com through her spokesperson Tuesday.

No further details were provided.

Cobie and Taran wed in 2012.

The couple already share five-year-old daughter Shaelyn Cado.

Cobie has a busy schedule ahead.

She’s currently starring in US TV drama Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and also has a role in upcoming Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron, slated for release next year.

The 32-year-old star recently wrapped up work on HIMYM after starring as Robin Scherbatsky on the hit TV show, which came to an end this year after 208 episodes.

She recently admitted saying good by to castmates Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris, who played her onscreen husband Barney Stinson, proved to be emotional.

"We had our last table read and I cried puddles of tears. It's such a good group of people, such a great show. I get to play such a wonderful character. I'm so blessed and I'm sad to say goodbye, but we've been blessed to be on the air for nine years which doesn't happen anymore," she sighed to edition.cnn.com. "A lot of these people have been here for the whole nine years. We have a family dynamic on our set and I will miss that."
