Larry Hagman’s estate is demanding the return of jewellery lawyers claim is in his granddaughter’s unlawful possession.
The late acting legend passed away last November at the age of 81 and executors were put in charge of his legal dealings.
According to TMZ, a lawyer for the Hagman Estate has filed court documents claiming Noel Hagman is in the possession of several valuable heirloom pieces she refuses to return.
Documents obtained by the website claim Noel has “a Raj necklace and matching earring set with encrusted diamonds and emeralds".
The jewellery was allegedly owned by the actor’s mother, Mary Martin, and eventually passed down to the Dallas star.
It is unclear how Noel obtained the jewels.
No one in the family has admitted to giving her the items although that is what she claims, according to the legal documents.
The estate is seeking for the immediate return of the jewellery.
Executors are reportedly asking Noel to pay double their value if she does not comply.
A value on the items was not provided.
Noel has yet to issue a public response to the filings.
