Jada Pinkett Smith: Sex is vital

Jada Pinkett Smith thinks sex is important for the mind.

The actress is letting her sensual side out in Magic Mike XXL, where she plays the owner of a strip club aimed just at women.

In real life she’s been married to actor Will for 18 years and just like her character, she believes a red-hot love life is key.

“It’s very important – really!” she enthused to Bild.de. “Not just psychologically, but physically: for the mind, the body, your wellbeing. Women have to explore their sexuality, they have to discover their sensual side.”

The 43-year-old is surrounded by sexy men in the film, including hunky actors Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Channing Tatum. But while fans would no doubt count them among their dream men, Jada still thinks the “perfect” man doesn’t exist.

“I’m not perfect either,” she shrugged. “The best thing about a long marriage like mine? You realise that your husband is just a man with imperfections, he’s no superman. You have to learn to love your man the way he is – perfectly imperfect!”

Luckily Will is pretty laidback and didn’t worry about Jada being surrounded by so many good-looking men on set.

As for who’s the best out of her co-stars, Jada wasn’t able to pick just the one and instead praised all of their impressive physiques.

“Let me tell you something, [I like] all of them, because it's all different… there's a variation, there's a variety. We like variety,” she previously said.
