Jason Biggs: Parenthood is fun

Jason Biggs’s son is the “most fun thing” that has ever happened to the actor.

The 36-year-old, who is married to actress and writer Jenny Mollen, has a six-month-old son, Sid. The Orange is the New Black star admits there are some challenges to fatherhood. His biggest challenge at the moment – Sid isn’t sleeping.

“Tell me what’s fun about that,” he exclaimed to People magazine. “No. He is the most fun thing that’s ever happened to me. But he really isn’t sleeping and that is not fun.”

The young one reached a huge milestone last week when he began eating real food. And Jason joked with People about his son having an unusual diet.

“We gave him a bone-in filet mignon. Sushi. Only one of those things is real. The bone-in filet, obviously. Medium-rare. Served with a side of mashed potatoes…lobster mash,” the star laughed.

“We gave him some butternut squash,” the first-time father explained.

The American Pie star quickly took to fatherhood following his son’s birth. Last month, he told New York Daily News his wife has joked Sid has two mommies.

“Jenny said that, and it makes me proud,” Jason told the publication. “Honestly, if I could I would breastfeed.”

Jason and Jenny met on the set of 2008 romantic comedy My Best Friend’s Girl and married the same year.

The actor rose to fame through his role in the American Pie film franchise. Last month, he was slammed on social media after joking about Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 shortly after it was shot down over the eastern Ukraine border, killing all 295 on board.
