JenAn 'gives eggs for Xmas'

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly giving her staff eggs and herbs for Christmas.

The 45-year-old actress has made no secret of the way she approaches the festive season. She likes people to know she cares but doesn't believe in lavish displays of wealth. This could be why she has gone for something useful when it comes to those who work for her - eggs from her chicken coop and flavourings grown in her garden,

"Her workers are grumbling that $50 in a card would've been more useful," a source told British magazine Heat. "Especially as they earn less than $50,000 a year."

She may not be all about the gifts, but Jennifer does like to celebrate. She began dating her now -fiancé Justin Theroux in May 2011 and that December the couple sent out joint Christmas cards, boasting a special message.

"We wish you and your family a holiday season full of happiness & joy. A donation has been made in your name to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Best Friends Animal Society," they read.

Last year she hosted a big party for her all her friends, with good pals Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox in attendance. Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey were also on hand to celebrate, along with Tobey Maguire, Will Arnett, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

"Jen always has her personal chefs prepare great food for guests, and this is by far her favourite party to host. She always puts in a lot of planning," a source told People magazine at the time.
