Jenna Dewan-Tatum has apologised after hitting someone’s car.

The 34-year-old actress accidentally drove her Range Rover into a white Mercedes on Thursday.

Following the incident, Jenna took the time to leave a note on the windscreen of the parked vehicle.

Apparently not having a pen on her, Jenna appeared to have written the note in lipstick.

“I’m so sorry I accidentally hit the front left side of your car!” the note read. It appeared to continue: “Please forgive me!”

Jenna concluded the note by leaving her phone number.

The stunning actress was en route to a hair salon on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, and hit the other car as she attempted to park her SUV.

With her brunette hair piled on top of her head, Jenna showed off her slim physique in a black sleeveless top and matching cropped leggings.

Jenna initially shot to fame in hit movie Step Up, on the set of which she met her now-husband, Channing Tatum.

And the mother-of-one said in a recent interview that her dancing background has helped her retain her slim figure.

"I danced for 22 years of my life, hardcore, every day, seven hours a day, so I'm lucky that [my body] likes to snap back to that shape," she told Ocean Drive magazine. "As long as I put a little effort into it, but I'm really active."

Jenna and Channing welcomed their first child, daughter Everly, into the world in May 2013.
